Who is JUST ONE Tree?

Just One Tree is a non-profit initiative dedicated to removing CO2 from the atmosphere and reversing biodiversity loss through global reforestation. To have the biggest impact on lowering global warming, they plant trees in regions that have been badly damaged by deforestation. Local communities receive sustained earnings and agricultural education as a result of their efforts.

JUST ONE Tree plants trees in Madagascar, Haiti, Kenya, Mozambique, Indonesia, Nepal, and Zambia. These regions are strategically chosen because scientific evidence indicates that planting forests closer to the equator has the most significant cooling effect on the planet.

But they don’t stop there. By planting trees on land and in the ocean, JUST ONE Tree focuses on repairing the ecosystem as a whole. They also work to develop the next generation of environmentally conscious thinkers by bringing environmental education into the classrooms through lesson plans and JUST ONE Tree Day.

How does it work?

As a partner of JUST ONE Tree, every time a someone subscribes to Luxury Wood Company's newsletter, one tree will be planted by JUST ONE Tree.

In order to plant the trees, JUST ONE Tree has partnered with a network of reforestation partners in particular areas of extreme poverty. They hire and teach people of the local community to plant the trees. The locals care for, preserve, and watch over the trees in their newly planted woods by watering, weeding, and other means.
